Many scientists claim that there is not even single evidence that shows humans have or will cause global warming. But on the contrary, there are statistics that claim that global average temperatures have changed and human activity is the crucial contributing factor responsible for the same.
This scam is being executed to support the belief that the combustion of the fossil fuels by the humans, leading to the emission of greenhouse gases, is harming the earth. But to establish a relationship between the emission of greenhouse gases and its affect on the climate, there are certain issues to ponder upon- to determine the average temperature of the earth and the change in the same, to measure the quantity of the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
Now firstly, it is impossible to measure the surface temperature of the earth. Secondly, water vapours (the main greenhouse gas) are irregularly distributed making it difficult to measure its quantity. Carbon dioxide can only be measured under certain suitable circumstances to act as if that it is “well-mixed”. Also, methane has nothing to do with fossil fuels and is a recycled plant material.
Also the assertion that the “future” climate is at stake is baseless because climate cannot be predicted years ahead. This is claimed by various scientists on the basis of “flat earth” computer models with the help of simulation.
There are various theories alleging that the logic behind global warming may be manipulated for various reasons; mainly ideological or financial reasons. Let’s do some fact checks!
CLAIM 1-
In 2014, Queensland, Australia saw more than 100,000 bats falling from the sky, drop dead and the reason was the withering summer heat.
FACT 1-
To reduce global warming, these alarmists suggest different ways to do the same including opting for wind energy for electricity generation. If we dig a little deeper, research shows that using wind power as a source for electricity kills nearly 1 million bats every year in the United States alone. This makes no sense, does it?
Blaming every extreme weather condition on global warming sounds like a rotten tactic.
CLAIM 2-
Increased temperatures are contributing to the spread of Lyme Disease.
FACT 2-
It is a tick-borne disease common is northern and cooler regions of the USA than its southern, warmer regions. Claiming without evidence that global warming is the reason behind its severity is a challenge against common sense. Also, a research done on the climate and habitat of the Lyme disease, as mentioned on a notable science journal, Ecohealth, says, “the only environmental variable consistently association with increased [Lyme disease] risk and incidence was the presence of forests.”
Even if global warming was responsible for its expansion, the statistics show otherwise. According to the U.S. Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that Lyme disease is rare as a cause of death in the United States making it less than 25 deaths per year.
CLAIM 3-
Climate changes can double the pollen count in the next 30 years.
FACT 3-
Pollens increase or decrease as per plants’ health and vegetation intensity as it is the product of plant reproduction. More pollens mean more plant growth and vice versa. The alarmists are trying to make this seem like global warming is improving plant health. We must understand that more plants mean a greener atmosphere which is all our mother earth wants.
These were few of the many facts that are claimed otherwise by the alarmists. We need to stay updated with the other side of the coin as well.
